That's Right Folks – Calendars Are A-Coming!
It's been a mountainous effort, but we're delighted to announce that we have now started shipping Kickstarter rewards! Indeed, around a quarter of our entire KS orders were picked up by the delivery service on Friday!
When your package has been received by USPS, you will be emailed a tracking number. Don't fret if you have not yet received notification, we expect the packing/shipping to continue for at least the next few weeks. We will be sending further updates as the process continues.
Returned BackerKit Survey = Delivered Goodies
If you have already completed your survey from BackerKit – we thank you – your order should soon be with you soon! However, we cannot send you goodies without your current mailing address (even if you have contributed to previous campaigns or bought from the eOlivia store). If you have not received your BackerKit survey, you can gain immediate access via the Survey Recovery Page. You simply have to enter your email address (used for Kickstarter) and voilà – you are in!
The BackerKit survey also functions as an "add-on store". Add-ons ordered during our Kickstarter campaign will come pre-selected in your survey but a whole range of other items will also be on offer, including some exclusive Kickstarter Specials. If you regret not upgrading to the Print Set during the campaign (or any other of our reward tiers), the BackerKit survey also allows you to upgrade your pledge level! For this function, instructions are included in the survey itself.

Production Update #4
We're delighted to report that our 2022 calendars have returned from the printers – and they look absolutely fantastic! As you can see from the above video clip, Olivia's mammoth signing has already commenced! Amongst the mountain of recent arrivals, stickers, magnets, and enamel pins have also been delivered. In fact, all the items for our Kickstarter are now safely in-hand and final preparations should see our first shipments to backers within a couple of weeks! We will keep you posted...

Production Update #3
And just a quick production update – since the last was only a couple of days ago – but we bring good news nonetheless! We are delighted with the first sample batch of stickers that has arrived from Diesel Fuel Prints (see above). The main order should ship to us in about 2 weeks or less.
Magnets have also shipped from a different printer and will be here within days!
Nothing else to report... but we will be sure to keep you informed as the process develops...

Production Update #2
Great news – the 2nd round of proofs have been approved and the calendar is now being printed! We expect delivery in about 2 weeks and Olivia will then embark upon her mammoth signing session. Several boxes of metallic gold pens are ready and waiting...
Enamel pins, stickers, and magnets are similarly approved to print with varying expected delivery times. The pins have the longest production (3-5 weeks), but these require the least amount of preparation to pack. Thankfully, one of the most difficult production elements – the postcards – are now completely separated into their respective sets.
For our in-house giclée prints, proofs have been approved by Olivia and production has commenced. These require a number of steps, including hand-tearing and embossing, before Olivia can sign. Certificates of Authenticity are also being prepared.

I love and appreciate all who have been following me and I’m deeply grateful for the relationship that we’ve had throughout the years... and for some, decades! This is our 5th year doing the kickstarter calendars and it has been a great help to us to pre-sell and plan ahead. We certainly will be doing this again. For the next step, we will be sending surveys via BackerKit in about 2 weeks – and will post another update a day prior so you can keep an eye out. Backer surveys are your opportunity to specify any add-ons that are included in your pledge, and inform us of all the relevant shipping information – since we can't send you goodies if we don't know your address.
During the campaign, we also had a number of requests for sticker and magnet add-ons. Those backers will be thrilled to know that both sticker packs and magnet packs will be available to select as extras when you complete your survey.

Production Update#1
As you can imagine, assembling all the various elements to our Kickstarter – calendars, giclée prints, postcards, enamel pins, magnets, and stickers – is a hugely complicated process! But after such an incredible start to our campaign (we reached our goal in the first 15 minutes), we were able to commence manufacturing a little earlier this year – and we're excited to report that a number of these components are already a good ways along the production pipeline. As you can see, we've already received our first set of proofs of the calendar from the printer...
It's crucial for Olivia that the final printed product looks as good as humanly possible, so we're currently making a few color/brightness adjustments to these final pages. We will likely be inspecting a 2nd set of proofs in about a week or so – once those are approved, the printing of the calendar will commence!
Postcards are one of the trickiest elements of the Kickstarter. Can you imagine hand-sorting around 30,000 individual postcards into their separate packs? It's a colossal task and every year requires a small team to collate and bag each complete set. We're happy to report, however, that postcards are already back from the printers – they look fantastic – and nearly all the sets are already assembled. Great news!
Equally challenging is the production of the giclée prints. These are all produced in-house, including printing, hand-tearing, embossing, and creation of the certificates of authenticity. The final stage, of course, is Olivia's gorgeous signature- with an assembly line that has to be seen to be believed! We are a little ways from that point, however, all the giclée prints (19 paintings in total this year) have already been proofed – and printing en masse will commence in the coming week. Olivia is already limbering up!
Print files for the magnets, enamel pins, and stickers are in the final stages of pre-production. We will likely be sending all of those to their respective printers in the next few days.
Exciting times – and we will certainly keep you updated on process as it evolves in the following weeks. Generally speaking, we are currently all on schedule for our August shipping and we are tentatively hoping to shave that down a little. Please stay tuned...
A Note for Errored Backers:
Every year, a small number of backers will have problems with their credit card or similar complications. If you are effected by this issue, you can fix your pledge by logging into your Kickstarter account and clicking on the "Fix Payment" banner at the top of the page. Kickstarter produced an article on what to do if your pledge is dropped here. Backers with errored pledges will have just 7 days from our project's end – 6/10/21 – to update their payment method.
